Roland JV/XP V6.07 Synth DLL 23.10.2001 ---------------------------- NEWS ---- in 6.07 New features: - Added support for undoing the use-categories command. - Added a new layout to the virtual synth. - The tooltip on a patch also shows all performances which reference this patch. - The XP-30 can now be selected in the midi settings - Added the wave and/or patch names of the Asia, FX, Latin, Country Collection Bug fixes: - The checksums for a performance were not calculated correctly if the synth was set to XP-30/50/60/80. in 6.06 New features: - The info tooltip for a JV/XP patch now shows if a tone is turned off. Bug fixes: - Changeit! did crash while trying to display a tooltip for a JV/XP patch which contained a tone which referenced an expansion board for which no .boa-file was existing. in 6.05 New features: - The envelope control has now a new look. - Support for relationship display with tooltips Bug fixes: - Fixed an error in the 16.boa (Orchestral II board) file in 6.04 New features: - In the midi settings dialog the option for selecting the JV-1010 was added. - Added the patch names of the Asia board. in 6.03 Bug fixes: - Not all parameters in the system layer were set to correct values when you created a new bank. in 6.02 Bug fixes: - Changing the names of patches, performances or rhythms in realtime did send wrong strings. in 6.01 Bug fixes: - Sending temporary rhythms did not work. Fixed. - Changing the name of a performance did not replace whole old name. - The changed name of a patch or rhythm was also stored to the patch if you canceled the edit dialog. - The Scale Tune Switch in the System Settings is now set to OFF as default. in 6.0 New features: - You can now edit a subset of the System settings Bug fixes: - Performances were not updated when you moved the patches in the bank. Fixed. in 5.8 New features: - You can now select the PCM card in the settings dialog. Bug fixes: - The "Alternate Pan Depth" for the tones 2, 3 and 4 did send a wrong value. - The sysex request codes for the "All user" and "All card" option were wrong. They contained a wrong length. That led to the problem that the JV/XP did not stop sending data. So if you tried to receive data a second time you did receive garbage. - The sysex request code for receiving all of the user AND card data was added. in 5.71 New features: - The function "Save Active Layer" was replaced by "Save Layers". now you can choose which layers you want to save. - The spin-controls in the PART X tab of the Performance Edit dialog were replaced with a comboboxes. - The Knob/Choose-Controls can now be controlled by the keyboard. Use the left/right/up/down/home/end-keys. Bug fixes: - If you did swap performances only the first 4 parts were updated. - In the EFX dialog the "unused" EFX parameters were set to -1 that lead to a "Sysex error" in the JV screen when sending the patch. - The MIX tab in the Performance Edit dialog was totally broken. - If you selected PCM as the patch group in the Wave dialog the wrong patch names were shown. in 5.70 New features: - The "Copy Rhythm Keys to a Patch" dialog shows now the wave-names that keys use. - A bank contains now also the card patches, card performances and card rhythms. Bug fixes: - If you selected PCM in the Wave edit dialog the wrong patches were shown. - The file "4.pre" contained an error. Patch 100 and 101 were in one line. - The Wave dialog in Rhythm edit was totally mixed up. Eg. it did not read the ids of the expansion-boards correctly and all other parameters were not set if changed the notes. - The id of the expansion boards in all wave edit dialogs which had no .boa file was 1 too low.
