Studio Diary - Virtual Reality

On this page we want to keep you informed about the recording of our new CD Virtual Reality. If you are not a muscian it might be very interesting for you to see what's going on behind the scenes.

We started during the Pentecost weekend. Christofs drums were recorded in a studio in Dühren/Kraichgau. The results where great and it is already clear that the sound will be much better than on our first recording. Christof plays even better with some Ramazotti inside.

Many thanks to Jens Weidenheimer and Harald Riesterer for supervising the recording and the funny hours in their studio.

Techtalk: The drums were recorded using Emagic Logic (Macintosh) on 10 tracks and already rarefied with some high quality compressors.
The rest of the band was recorded on a stereo track for orientation. Finally all the files were transfered to Jürgen Moßgrabers laptop (7 GB !!!) after the communication between the Macintosh and PC was solved.

Jens Weidenheimer operated the mixing desk.

Pizza Blitz (means fast as lightning!!!) could us bring some food after three hours of waiting!
